Volkswagen Ranked Top European Brand with Hispanic Community

In a recent article on Volkswagen leads the European brands with the most increased sales to Hispanics in 2010 according to a Polk study of top brand registrations from January through September.

In 2010, Volkswagen of America, Inc announced a nationwide contest during the World Cup in conjunction with a large sponsorship of the event on Univision. Together with soccer legends Ramoncito Morales and Ramon Ramirez, Volkswagen encouraged soccer fans to create and upload their own “fanistitial” videos documenting their passion for soccer.

The increase in exposure of the Volkswagen brand to the Hispanic community has shown positive results in new vehicle sales. A significant attribute is the new 2011 Jetta with a decreased price tag and increase in style and design.
