David Maus VW Employees Read to Children

Employees from the David Maus Automotive Group Literacy Project volunteered their time to read books to children attending Kids Together Childcare this past Tuesday. Ten people read books to groups of children ages 2 through Pre-K for an hour and then donated 50 Winnie the Pooh books.

The Literacy Project was formed in 2010 as an outreach program for employees with the David Maus Automotive Group to become involved in helping schools by reaching out to students through reading and fundraising. Fundraisers have been held at all four David Maus dealerships, such as book drives and raising money for Library posters.

The Literacy Project is under the CARE Program which is an acronym that stands for Courageous and Respected Employees. The Purpose of this program is to reach out to organizations that have a direct impact on the lives of kids and offer employees VIP benefits within our service and sales departments; family pricing on all vehicles, discounts on servicing your vehicles, and many more perks.

Kids Together Childcare in Oviedo is a nurturing, safe and supportive childcare program designed to provide a wide range of enriching and recreational activities in order that every child discovers a joy in learning and develops a positive self esteem. From infant care to after school care, they provide age-specific activities designed to enhance a child’s growth.

2012 VW Eos Redesign Displays Quiet Elegance

The all new 2012 Volkswagen Eos gets a fresh look with slimmer accessories and more subtle details to allow the view of the entire vehicle to take precedence on the road. The interior remains the same with upgraded versions displaying real walnut wood trim and lush leather upholstery. Intelligent key system will now be offered, as well as HD radio. The engine has no major changes which is good since the turbocharged engine gives drivers 200 horsepower. One of the novel and interesting features of the new Eos is the glass sunroof integrated within the power-folding hardtop mechanism. Overall the look of the Eos is a beauty and will be in showrooms by early 2012.
