Champions In The Community Interview With TV Personality Mark McEwen

The  all-new “Champions in the Community” Radio Show with David Maus will be  hosting TV Personality and Stroke Survivor, Mark McEwen, tonight on  WFLF 540 am.  During his tenure at CBS, Mark served in a variety of high  profile positions, including anchoring “CBS This Morning” for three  years. He was most recently seen as an anchor on WKMG and is now a  spokesperson for the American Stroke Association and the Heart and  Stroke Foundation after surviving a stroke five years ago.

In  tonight’s show listeners can hear about Mark’s interview with Garth  Brooks, Faith Hill, Denzel Washington and many more prominent  newsmakers.  Plus Mark takes the time to discuss the symptoms of his  stroke, his five year recovery and what he is doing now to make sure the  Central Florida community is aware of the warning signs of a stroke.

From  “The Morning Program” to “CBS This Morning,” Mark was a mainstay on the  CBS early news since first joining the network in 1987. In 1995, Mark  was named one of the country’s “Ten Most Trusted TV News Personalities”  in a TV Guide survey.
